David: Ah geez
Brenton: …the drones… it’s incredible.

David: Ladies and Gentlemen, James Bamford “Bam Bam”, the stunt coordinator. He coordinates all the stunts happening. How are you doing today?
James “Bam Bam” Bamford, Stunt Coordinator: Great. How are you?
David: Good. Having a good day?
James: Yeah, lots of fun.
David: Are we going to have lots of Wraith fall down? *runs away* Lunch!?
James: Ummm… So, it is lunch, apparently…

David: Contrary to popular belief, it’s not really humans that the Wraith eat. Is it?
Apollonia: *laughs*
David: It is, isn’t it?
Apollonia: *laughs*
David: I’m getting out of here. Ahhhhhh!

David: See, exposing the myth that Wraith eat human flesh… it’s just pork loin, and roast potatoes, and chicken. Like, if I would have known that in the beginning, we could have saved ourselves all that trouble. Human flesh. It’s chicken! So, now, that’s what really got me thinking, if the Wraith are eating mashed potatoes and chicken, what about the Replicators? OK? The whole thing with the Replicators and them replicating? I think it’s all just made up. You know? I think they are also just human beings. I think if we also gave them chicken and potatoes, we’ll be fine. I’ll tell you, you know, this behind-the-scenes stuff, I get a whole new perspective of what really happens on Stargate.

David (to drone actor): Can you see through those things?
Drone actor: Not very well, no. The eye holes are these… group of about eight puncture wounds. You pretty much just have to pick one hole and focus on that. And, when there is smoke and mist, and you are running through hallways, and tripping over things and…
David: Ah, so that explains why you see all those Wraith come running and always go smashing into the walls.
Drone actor: Yeah.
David: I thought it was the martinis.

David (with a Wraith wig): Look, I’m a Wraith! I’m a Wraith! Boo!

David: Today, we are going to be on the set for the Wraith version of “Deal or No Deal.” *sits on throne* What do you say? Deal? Or, no deal? That’s pretty good, eh? If you look around the wall, we are pretty latex-heavy here at Stargate. You know what I mean? Latex heavy? It’s a pretty cool set. Let’s take a look.
David: So, ah, these are like, ah, space impalers. You have to be careful with that. Hey, check it out: it’s Styrofoam. *laughs* Are you afraid of Styrofoam? Not me. Come on over here.
David: Ah, this is pretty good. You’ve got like a rubber encased, intestinal red that so many Wraith like to decorate with. You know? I’d like to see a little bit more color.

James (about stunt actress Lani Gelera): So, this is what Lani looks like. She was rehearsing with me earlier, swinging a sword around on the set. So, we had to send her back over here to get all of her make-up put on.

James: Move, she pulls her knife out there, sticks him, Ah! Bam!
Man off camera: In the back?
James: Well, in the side. Right here. Crack. He pulls it out. She starts to get up. He throws her over by the throne. Into there. See that? *swishes sword* She ducks, she starts to stand up…*punches* Crack! Into there. We’re at the end.

David: What’s the craziest stunt you’ve done?
Lani Gelera, Stunt Woman: On this show?
David: On this show.
Lani: I’ve done a lot of fighting. I’ve fought a lot of guys. A lot of falling down. And a lot of hitting the ground.

Jason: You want me to do this one?
James: Yeah.

Connor: Bam Bam is a really interesting fighter instructor coordinator because he incorporates mixed martial arts. It’s seems to be a non-traditional kind of, you know, you’re not standing there toe-to-toe and just, you know, punching each other. It’s knees, kicks, and spins and he asks a lot of you. And, his stunts guys are amazing. Jason is also one of the best fighters I’ve ever worked with.

Director: Action!
James: This is the end piece of the fight between Michael and Ronon. Ronon, played by Jason, falls over the railing, where, actually, you can see over there, is actually Glen Ennis, Jason’s stunt double. He’s going to fall over the railing, plunge about fifteen feet, to a small pad rig on the ground.

Director: Action!
James: We are also going to shoot a landing piece, just to show an actual impact piece.
Director: Action!
James: At the end of the day fight today, Jason threw himself onto the floor just to show that he is one of the boys. And, he still is.
Director: Action!
James: Just to prove that he doesn’t have to pay for all the beers after work, for people that are taking all the hits.
Jason: My stunt man, Glen, is the best. He did a really good job. I think it’s going to be made of a lot of good angles all the time.
James: Good job all around.
Jason: We had a lot of time to shoot, so…
James: Yeah, ummm
Jason: I’m just a little sore, a pain in the knuckles, it’s not bad.
James: I’m proud of everybody.
Jason: Could be worse.
James: Advil.
Jason: Advil: stunt man candy.
